The assignment was to create a stamp and its corresponding poster based on an author. There was to be a minimum of nine stamps, and the required postal information (USA|Forever) had to be present on the stamp. This assignment used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
By using such attributes as grids, transparency, fonts and color schemes, Maryanna utilized the widely known author J.K. Rowling and the world-renowned Harry Potter book series to create a visually captivating collection of stamps.
With a collection of brightly colored book covers, the parchment background created a muted way of tieing the stamps together. Maryanna also wanted to be sure to incorporate Rowling herself, as well as the school millions of fans wish desperately to visit.
